How do I decide what I can grow?

  • There is also great benefit in learning how to grow food, and tending to a garden teaches valuable life skills for all ages!

What are the benefits of having a vegetable garden at my home?

  • We can help you learn how to care for your garden. 
  • We provide information and can certainly provide a crash course on gardening such as caring for your plants, harvesting, watering, and processing.
  • We are available for any questions once your garden is installed and available for hourly lessons should they be needed!

Will I learn how to take care of my garden myself?

  • We provide a variety of services including yard and garden clean-up, garden design and build, Spring clean-up, and more.
  • Property maintenance includes: planting, weeding, mulching, edging, mowing, weed whacking, hedge trimming and more. 
  • We love to design and build various garden structures including but not limited to: raised garden beds, garden trellises, fenced-in gardens – the sky is the limit!
  • We also love converting your lawn into use-able garden and growing space. Have us out to your property to see what the possibilities are.

What services do you provide?

  • Yes! We can meet your needs on a weekly, bi-weekly or monthly basis. 
  • We service the general HRM area. Call us to find out if we service your area. Some travel charges may apply.

Do you offer landscaping and property maintenance?

  • Anytime! A typical growing season is May/June - September/October.
  • There’s a lot that you can do, year-round, including mid-Summer and end of season (late Fall) prep work to get ready for the following growing season.

What is the best time of year to start a garden?

  • The option to subscribe both reduces your overall cost and investment, while allowing us to work on your property at a set, regular schedule (such as weekly, bi-weekly or monthly).
  • We see best results when we are able to support the maintenance of your property and garden, but there is no obligation to commit to a package.

Do I have to subscribe to your services?
